Free Scary Movie - NIght of the Living Dead

A scary movie classic is free on YouTube. from Rotten Tomatoes, "George A. Romero's debut set the template for the zombie film, and features tight editing, realistic gore, and a sly political undercurrent."

Reviews :
"Romero conjures moments of eeriness and dread throughout, keeping the lighting low and the special effects to a minimum, though there will be blood, fire, cannibalism and a great deal of death"
Steve Rose, Guardian

"The immediate, quasi-documentary feel, a result of budgetary constraints, actually served the film's horror, jolting audiences because it all seemed just a little too real." April Wolf, Village Voice

"What's truly remarkable is how, after half a century and an uncountable number of zombie films, novels, comics, TV shows, and video games, you can watch the original Night of the Living Dead and it still feels fresh and terrifying." Austin Trunick, Under the Radio

Forty Years Later ...

How can we not resist the description of this sequel to the cult classic four decades earlier? from the Rotten Tomatoes reviews website - "Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago."

Zombies Train for Fire Extinquisher

Tis the Season - to Get Scared

Every year towards the end of September, those who are fans of zombies, haunted houses, ghouls, and horror movies start getting ready for Halloween.

For some Halloween begins in September...kind of like Christmas starting early.
But we're not talking about Christmas trees, or mistletoe.
Ask Little Suzie, our resident ghost at Milburn's Haunted manor.

But time has passed...none now remember the Manor's dark secret and history has faded to fable.
In the Fall of 1927 the small quiet town of Hubbard Oregon was shocked with its first double homicide, suicide. The police recorded that the daughter of Ida and Wilhelm Milburn viciously murdered and dismembered her parents in the night before hanging herself in the parlor. The extent of the heinous crime was so brutal that the Milburn's Manor was boarded up and left to rot. No one wanted to purchase the estate for fear of the evil that lingers there.
Rumors of lights seen within the rotting manor have begun to stir once more. Some say that the tormented spirit of little Suzie has come home. That she wanders the dark halls of the old Milburn Manor, cursed to relive the horrors of that fated Fall night.
Our main featured attraction is The Manor, where Suzie likes to hang out.
