In case you remember the movie Halloween released in 1978 with Jamie Lee Curtis, it had rave reviews and became a "cult classic".  In the movie a young boy kills his sister on Halloween of 1963, and is sent to a mental hospital. 15 years later he escapes and returns to his home town in order to wreak havoc. The critics consensus is that it is "Scary, suspenseful, and viscerally thrilling, Halloween set the standard for modern horror films."

Forty Years Later ...

How can we not resist the description of this sequel to the cult classic four decades earlier? from the Rotten Tomatoes reviews website - "Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago." 

In this trailer lyrics are heard as we see woods and mannequins, and then Jamie Lee Curtis. Both films,the 1978 original and this sequel are listed in the top 100 horror films of all time based on the critics reviews on the website Rotten Tomatoes.
